2. Visiting this website
When a website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is transmitted to the delivering servers. This includes in particular your IP address, the time and target of the request and, where applicable, browser information and the previously visited page. This processing serves to provide the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in a secure and functioning website.
To operate this website at www.nexiost.de we use STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, as our hosting provider. According to STRATO, visitor IP addresses are stored for a maximum of seven days to defend against attacks; web hosting is processed in Germany. Further information can be found in the privacy information on STRATO hosting (German).
3. Contact by email and email preparation
The form on the home page prepares an email in your own email application. The website code does not send your entries to a form server and does not store them there. We only receive your details once you send the prepared message from your email application. Without a configured email application this function may be limited; you can also contact us directly by email.
We process the data you provide, for example name, company, email address, industry, website and message, as well as the technical data arising from email communication. Required fields refer to preparing the email; you can also send an email directly without using the form. Please do not send passwords or particularly sensitive information via this form.
For enquiries about an order, processing takes place to carry out pre-contractual measures or a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We handle other enquiries on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in answering business messages. We also base the processing of contact person data of legal entities on this legitimate interest.
We delete enquiries once they have been fully dealt with and there are no longer any contractual or statutory retention obligations or reasons required for legal defence. In a business relationship, statutory retention periods may apply. For business communication via info@nexiost.de we also use STRATO GmbH as our email service provider. Email connections may additionally run through the services of your own email provider.
4. Cookies, local storage, fonts and design previews
The reviewed website code does not use any analytics or advertising cookies and does not use session storage. If you choose the light or dark design yourself using the switch in the header, your browser stores this choice in local storage (entry “nexiost-theme” with the value “light” or “dark”). This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us and only serves to keep the display you have chosen (§ 25(2)(2) TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings. Fonts are displayed using the system fonts available on your device. The images and design previews are loaded from the website’s own files; the previews do not contain any embedded booking or tracking services. The technical processing by the hosting provider is described in section 2.
External source links only take you to the respective website after you click them. The operator of that website is responsible for data processing there.
5. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing as well as the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it with effect for the future.
Right to object: Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can object to processing for direct marketing at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For North Rhine-Westphalia this is in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
6. Provision of data and automated decision-making
You decide yourself whether you contact us and which information you send us. Without a way to contact you, we may not be able to answer your enquiry. The website code does not make any automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and does not create usage profiles.
7. Security and changes
This website is delivered at www.nexiost.de via an encrypted HTTPS connection. We will update this notice if the technical services and functions change.
